The following statement can be attributed to Alisyn Malek, Executive Director for the Coalition for Reimagined Mobility, a global effort to shape policy for the more equitable and sustainable movement of people and goods.

“The Coalition for Reimagined Mobility celebrates the historic level of investment in the Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation. With investments at this scale, ports can begin to modernize their systems by leveraging freight data to improve operations, create efficiencies, and reduce climate impacts in the freight sector. These investments must be made now to prepare for the future of moving goods in our country and to fix the supply chain challenges we face today.”
