Stu has more than 30 years of experience in transportation infrastructure engineering, and is an acknowledged leader not only within Stantec, but throughout the industry. A visionary, Stu keeps a watchful eye on the future of community infrastructure, promoting solutions that embrace sustainability, such as building to accommodate autonomous vehicles and the other game-changing innovations that will change the way our cities and towns live, work and play.

Stu formerly led Stantec’s Transportation business, including the Company’s transit, road, rail, bridge, and non-motorized transportation activities in North America.

Through his involvement in hundreds of projects, from planning through construction, delivered via design-build, public-private partnerships, and conventional design-bid-build, Stu has become an expert in managing complex projects to meet demanding project completion timelines.

A leader in the industry, Stu has served in multiple professional organizations, spoken at numerous professional events, and been published in several industry publications. He has a bachelor of civil engineering from Lehigh University and a master of science in civil engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
