On June 18, The Bipartisan Policy Center (PBS) hosted an event to highlight how autonomous vehicles have the potential to revolutionize mobility, particularly benefiting underserved communities.
Dr. Allanté Whitmore, Director of the AV Initiative with Coalition for Reimagined Mobility joined the panel and spoke to her research and report on this issue, Environmental and Equity Implications of Electric, Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAVs) in Urban Transportation: A Case Study of San Francisco.
Alongside experts and policymakers at the forefront of AVs who are working to address challenges and pave the way for a future that is forward-thinking, innovative, and beneficial for all, this 60-minute virtual event dives into realizing the full potential of AVs requires policies that bridge both innovation and inclusivity.
