Akshaya R. Kudale
Akshaya joined the Coalition for Reimagined Mobility as a Policy Associate in August 2021. Akshaya is an Architect and a Town & Country planner, with over two years of experience in the town planning and transportation sector. In her initial days Akshaya worked at Science and technology park, Pune, and drafted ‘Thane Vision Plan 2030’. She then proceeded to work with School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, on conducting verification audit of facilities for persons with disabilities in selected 70 railway stations in India, with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. In her recent experience as India Smart Cities Fellow under Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India; she worked on promoting non-motorized transit with data-driven decision making and participatory approach, in Smart cities of India. With this diverse range of research and implementation capabilities, she brings a fresh and universal perspective to drive our research agenda towards defining the future of mobility.
